Chicken Coop

So we've had our coop built for a while now but we hadn't put the finishing touches on it until Sat. I was super excited when Michael said he wanted to get it finished. Larry built the nesting boxes for us but we did everything else by ourselves. We are pretty tickled that we've finally figured out that we can build stuff without help :)

Michael built this little ledge so they can walk completely around the coop & was also giving them a place to roost.

He cut a hole so they could travel inside without having to go through the actual door.

Here they are checking out their new surroundings, they are super nosy.

Here's Ms. Fancy pants trying to decide if she wants to try out the ladder.

 

This is the outside of the coop so now we don't have to go inside to get the eggs anymore which is way better. So far the silly girls are laying in the same 2 nests even though they have 8 to chose from lol Now we need to stain so it all matches & then I want to hang up some little signs.
