Wow what a wild ride my family has recently been on :) We had no idea we were going to actually close on our house and only have one week to pack up & get out. We signed a contract stating they could take possession the day of closing but we didn't find out for sure that it was going to close until Aug 24th giving us a total of 6 days to get completely moved. We are very greatful to have it sold though, it's been on the market on & off for about 2 1/2 yrs now, we knew it would come in God's timing so it was just a matter of praying & keeping the faith.
I had planned several things for the Labor Day weekend without realizing everything would be taking place LOL It was crazy but all in all everything worked out just fine. We ended up having an extra day to move because of some paperwork so we were able to mow the yard & meet the sweet couple that bought it. They were first time home buyers & as excited to move in as we were to move out :)
The first thing I had committed to was telling Angie I would help with Cheyenne's baby shower at church. Thankfully I was able to get everything done in time & really not be too stressed about it. I got the wrist corsage, the guest sign in book, the registry book & the food cooked that I was supposed to bring & honestly I did it all within hours before the shower began lol Yep, I'm that procrastinator.
Dawn did a great job on this little baby :)

Love this girl & it's hard to believe that she had her precious little girl 8 weeks early and a week before the shower, she's already lost all her baby weight.
Then there was Lizzie's 3rd birthday party that I promised I would help with :)
Dominique did a great job decorating her house, as she called it was all "Dorified"
The morning of the party I put together the candy bouquet, baked cupcakes, cooked all sorts of food :)
Love my 2 bald little guys :)
Levi or as Lizzie calls him "Wevi" couldn't wait to go get Suzy so Lizzie could take her first horse ride :)
Bentley was excited to take a ride too lol
Then when I signed up to run the Children's Mercy Hospital 10K & 5K I had no idea we would be selling our house & I wouldn't have time to do any training, whatsoever, for 2 weeks prior. However, I managed to run the 10K in a shorter time than my previous 10K so I was pretty excited about that :) I ended up walking the majority of the 5K with my friend Summer because she's the one that ask me to join her in both so my time wasn't so great for it but still I completed 9 1/2 miles without any training :)
This was Eugene's first ever marathon & I'm so proud of him for completing the entire 9 1/2 miles ahead of me on both the 10K & 5K
My wonderful photographing husband lol
Yep, we had just finished the 10K
At the starting line of the 5K
At the finish line of the 5K
Things have slowed down just a bit for us & we are so thankful to be able to live at my parent's house while we are building, they are never home, we are in & out and actually in the last week we've only seen each other in passing. We all know this is a temporary solution and we are excited about getting to build a house at our farm where everyone feels like that is our "HOME"
